Meet Katrina Dorsey, Au.D.

Dr. Katrina Dorsey joined our team in June 2023 and is now accepting new patients in both of our Wake Forest and Raleigh locations.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech and Hearing from Cleveland State University and her Doctorate of Audiology from Ohio University. While completing course work towards her doctorate, Dr. Dorsey also earned a Veterans’ Healthcare Certificate that provides healthcare workers advanced and specific knowledge on working with veterans in healthcare settings. She completed her 4th year externship at Sounds of Life Hearing Center in Concord Township, Ohio, where she worked with patients of many different backgrounds and assisted in fundraising efforts for their local hearing aid non-profit project. She loves working with and getting to know patients of all ages to find the treatment options that best fit their listening needs.

Dr. Dorsey seizes many opportunities to stay up-to-date about advancements in the field of audiology to better give back to her patients through the attendance of conferences and relevant trainings. During her externship, Dr. Dorsey also had the opportunity to present at the 2023 American Academy of Audiology conference in Seattle, Washington on socioeconomic impacts to hearing healthcare. In her spare time, Dr. Dorsey enjoys baking new recipes from her cookbooks, traveling with friends, and getting lost in a good book!
