Catherine Marquis, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Marquis has been an audiologist since 1983. She received a BA in Speech and Hearing Sciences and her MA in Audiology from Louisiana State University. She later earned the Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Florida. She was a clinical audiologist in ENT offices for 22 years before opening Wake Audiology in 2005. Dr. Marquis is board certified by the American Board of Audiology, and she is licensed by the State of North Carolina. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and the Academy of Doctors of Audiology. She specializes in comprehensive hearing evaluations, hearing aids, hearing loss counseling, and hearing protection. She and her husband have a daughter and two grandchildren.
Front Office Manager
Carol Stoisits joined Wake Audiology in November 2010. She manages our front office, and she is always ready to greet our patients with her friendly voice and beaming smile. Carol is a native New Yorker who absolutely loves North Carolina. In her spare time she enjoys cooking and spending time with family and friends. Carol and her husband have 3 daughters and welcomed their first grandchild in April 2016.
Patient Care Coordinator
Sandy Gasper joined the Wake Audiology team in February, 2012. As a patient care coordinator, she works closely with Dr. Marquis and Carol in all areas including hearing aid repairs/cleaning, patient scheduling, and insurance/billing. She enjoys traveling, sports, volunteering, and spending time with family and friends. Sandy moved to Raleigh from Cincinnati, Ohio with her husband and two sons in 2003.
