Who We Are

We understand choosing a hearing care provider is a big decision. At Wake Audiology, our number one priority is delivering exceptional patient care. Our staff is well-trained on a variety of services ranging from evaluations to treatment.

We believe great care includes establishing great relationships with our patients. Treating hearing loss is an ongoing process that requires regular follow-ups, maintenance and cleanings to keep you hearing your best. Our staff is here to support you not only during your initial visit but throughout your entire journey to better hearing.

Our Staff

Samantha Vrooman, Au.D.

Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Samantha Vrooman earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in communication studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Florida. She was a clinical audiologist in private practice for 4 years before acquiring Wake Audiology in 2019.

Jessica Silvani, Au.D., CCC-A

Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Jessica Silvani earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Science and Disorders from Florida State University and her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of South Florida. She completed her 4th year externship at Carolina Ear and Hearing Clinic in Raleigh.

Katrina Dorsey, Au.D.

Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Katrina Dorsey joined our team in June 2023 and is now accepting new patients in both of our Wake Forest and Raleigh locations. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech and Hearing from Cleveland State University and her Doctorate of Audiology from Ohio University.

Ginny Lillie

Patient Care Coordinator

Ginny Lillie is delighted to be a member of the Wake Audiology Team and joined in June 2020 as the Patient Care Coordinator. Having grown up with a hearing-impaired family member, Ginny tries to make our patients feel welcome and well-heard.

Julie Walsh

Billing Specialist

Julie Walsh joined the Wake Audiology team in December 2021 as a patient care coordinator. Her previous work experience as a teacher taught her invaluable communication skills that make her an asset to our practice.

Rachel Horan

Audiology Assistant

Rachel joined the Wake Audiology team in March, 2022, after moving from Long Island, New York. As an audiology assistant, she works closely with Dr. Vrooman and Dr. Silvani in multiple areas including hearing aid repairs and cleaning, patient scheduling, and marketing.

Jasmine Tejeda

Audiology Assistant

Jasmine Tejeda joined the Wake Audiology team in February 2023 after graduating from Wake Tech Community college with an associates degree in Business Administration. She works as a patient care coordinator and recently completed training as an Audiology Assistant.
